hello everybody

I have a 125 liter bare tank with 6 discus in it.
I have them for four month, two weeks ago one of the discus turned dark, I cannot notice any known disease symptoms:normal behavior, eating normally, normal stool,no external sign.

the only time he gets his normal color back is when I insert hose in to the tank in order to clean the bottom and change water.

please tell me what can it be??

Thanks

How old are your Discus? He/she could be turning dark because they are starting to pair off and becoming terratorial. If that is the case it is perfectly normal.

Yours are a little young but it is possible, I've found that darker coloured fish such as Blue Diamonds tend to get a fair bit darker when they get jiggy with it.

Have you checked your water param's recently?

You are already at the best place for any reading on Discus, I've never found anywhere better.

My water is tiptop :D
I can see them fighting a lot recently,I think that your first thought is the right one.

How long sould the coloring and the fighting take?

Thanks a lot
