hi guys im wanting to venture into breeding discus, ive got my breeding tank cycling and a breeding pair.

i kno im probly getting ahead of myself but im just curious and also wanting to prepare if theres succes in the breeding (hopefully).

im just wondering if anyone can give me a step by step guide on what to do an how to look after the fry from first stage of eggs all the way through to about the size of 50cent peices.

im wondering about
*feeding (how often, an what do i feed)
*waterchanges
*when to remove parents
*lights

If anyone could help itd be much apretiated!

First thing to do is get the other half on side,this is the first and hardest step.

as i understand some ways to help induce spawnin is daily w/c and put in water a ouple degrees lower then that of the tank temp.

also clean water an quality food, any other ways?

also whats the optimum water parameters for them to breed in?

Crocky, I'll second that lol! It's still an on going process.

Nathan, if you look at the top of this section you will see a sticky from LR on the basics of breeding Discus. You can't find better advice than that.
