how do i cycle a breeding tank?

hey guys just wondering how id go about cycling a breeding tank, itl be bare bottom the tank size is 2x18x18 so does anyone have any ideas how i go about it? perhaps some neons or something like that?

put your sponge filter in one of your mature tanks. maybe 10-15 days or if you already have one there move it to your breeding tank. thats what i do,just move filters around. or take some media fron a cycled filter and add it to a new one.

Same as per any other tank....

Throw the filter in there and maybe a few cheap fish that can be put in another tank once cycled.... :wink:
