Hey, guys:

Have anyone used a miracle mud approach on a discus set up?

I know some people using that set up on Marine. But i found out that on the eco-system website there is actually a fresh water version and said was great for discus.

It would be an expensive set up for discus....but just interested about the result.

Here is a link:

I have seen many local fish store have the salt water version in stock.

I suppose if there is a demand, fresh water version should not be hard to obtain.

Miracle Mud II is not in Australia yet, but may be very soon.

(btw, only II will work with freshwater)

another thing is i found heaps of article about how good the Miracle mud I is. It had always been talked about in the British Practical fishkeeping magazine as well. But that all relates to the saltwater version.

I found nothing about people using the freshwater version.

We may have to use it and come up with our own conclusion.

There prob wont be much data out there due to it having only recently being released.

The Marine stuff is meant to be top notch though
