Hi Jim,

some of the members up your way might be able to help you but i have seen some cheap on ebay.

I started of with a hand mincer and it worked quite well until i had over a dozen tanks with discus!

Then i just use the electric mincer from work.

Cheers
Ben

Hi mate - Ben is right. ebay has new sunbeam electric mincers for $149 bucks. Harvey Normans current price for the same mincer is $220. They're being sold from an ebay shop in Melbourne.

Jim :

If you want non-electric, try any of the Kitchen supply stores. They have some good Models for Sale.,

Hand powered meat mincers were a very popular household item about 20 years ago. Have a look in some of the second hand shops, or antique shops. You're bound to find a number of good working models :P

Thanks guys......the reason for a non electric is that they are sooooooo big
for a relatively small amount of discus food to make....

Merrilyn's idae to look in a sec. hand shop is probably the best way

Margo....Kitchen supply stores..will try these too.....thanks guys

Hi Jim
Try one of the large department stores like Bunnings or somewhere like one of the Home stores.

I know Bunnings sometimes have the older type mincers in there kitchen supply section.
And Home I think would defenatly have them.

I did buy one only a few years ago to mince my own food for my dog,(spoilt dog). so they can be found.
