View Full Version : Easter at the beach ( melbourne style )

Hi all,

somthing diffrent for easter; me and partner decided to spend parts of the weekend exploring our wonderful coast line in Victoria. It was icey cold, we had a killer breeze and the seas were awsum to look at.

thought I'd post some pics , hope you like them.

ps ( discus do not habitat these waters despite rumours and disbelief )

There is some nice looking waves there,,,,but it looks damn cold... :lol:

hehehehe looks sooooo cold! it might be the angle of the pics but in some of them the water looks very choppy.

I had 2 jumpers on and a beanie yet I was still freezing! Yet these little kids were playing in the water.


yeah GP the waves were actually rolling in big, massive chop, get sucked out in that and your cactus.

Hi Nick,

Reminds me of the weather back home in england....frrreeeezzzzzing!!!
Now i know why i moved to tropical north queensland -sunshine,warmth and good tropical discus weather.

thats Portsea back beach. That span of water is the Bass Strait :)

HI John,

dont remind me my best mate decided enough is enough and moved his family up to noosa. Spoke to him the other day, apparently its shorts and singlets most days hehe

if it wasnt for work id Join you in QLD :)

Portsea back beach is great, I used to go to Blairgowrie back beach... the waves were incredible!
