Hi there,

Well tonight there is some tank Action!! But there is something wrong with this picture...

My lady "red" has been a layin again and Mr Angel has decided that he is her partner... at first I thought he was just trying to get in close to the "eating of the eggs" action :x but then noticed that he was actually protecting the eggs 8-) and then lo and behold he started to try and fertilise them!!!! :? He thinks he is the new Easter Bunny!!

Here are some pics of the lovely couple!! Imagine if they were successfuls I would become the mother of some "Dangels"

I like "Dangels" or ..... "Angus" ... very ac/dc, and kind of fitting for a new aussie breed :P

Be interesting to see if discus and angelfish sperm is interchangeable and the eggs viable. I'm kind of sure if it is, the same asian fish-breeders who came up with the "flower horn cichlid" would have done it already! But you never know, there've been a lot of australian world-firsts!

keep us posted, this is pretty exciting!

Last time he had "friends" he chased them around so much that they hid and one died.... and then we had a heater get stuck on and temp went up and only he and a little clown loach survived.... I decided not to get him anymore friends as he was always a real big bully!!

Ps...morning comes and eggs are gone!
so no Dangelanguses ....:-(
