thanks guys!

The BD and RGD are showing signs of pairing, but are yet to lay...

But I would like to breed them later on...

If they do breed - I will sell the babies dirt cheap to all the good people here on the forums!

Nicholas76 if you are reading - do your fire ruby's change colour when the lights go out? Like very noticeably ?

HI Grant

Firstly good luck with the new fish

Noticable diffrences mate hmm, Id have to say the orange in the area head comes and goes depending upon what I feed them and stress. The stress bars pop on and off too. Generally the blue stays the same but yes when the lights are off or the room is darker that too goes a shade darker.

Picture attached hope this helps. ( excuse the crud in the tank , prior to w/c)

Thanks Nick,

Thats interesting.

My fire ruby looks like it is snakeskin based, since it considerably darkens more than that and also - has around 12-15 bars down it at times ?

I will try to post a pic of what I mean.
