they're doing great, but every time they see me move they run to the back like racehorses. then in 20-30 seconds run back to eat to the front (in a little slower speed).... anyway, temp is 80f, ph 6.6.... theyre breeding there and seem very happy any time i observe them after sitting quetly... but their running from me is ignorant to the point that i sometimes consider moving them to a smaller 125g tank and keep angels in this 265g.... what is theyre problem?

2 main causes in my experience. Poor water quality and/or vibration. I'd look at these issues first.

How long has this been going on?
Discus can be very shy and take a while to get to trust you.
Mine used to be like that for a while. Now they just about yell at me to feed them when I come into their room.
If you haven't treated for flukes, parasites and worms, then I reckon it would be a good idea.
I found mine settled down a lot after I did, so I think they might have been feeling just a bit under attack/grumpy.

I find these are the main areas to investigate

1. Water issue
2. shadows and lighting
3. tank is in a busy area or an area were people can approach too suddenly.
