Now for the jelly fish....

cant remember this ones name but they are not found in australia these ones came from America... the "appendage" (thats what they called it! ) has no known function but it looks interesting!!

The Brown Sea Nettle... Mildly harmful to humans if it stings...little fish use the tentacles as refuge...

Yeah its a great place to have a function!

I actually loooked at having a big bday party in the shark room.

however the rate is a flat fee ( minimum )of ten thousand dollars. I decided to pass on the venture.

The coral room was better but jeepers still $$$$$$$

aaah also

just another observation.

notice that the corals are dead and or fakes!

they should go to the effort and make it all alive! but then with that many fish , its expensive fish food :P

I was talking to LFS and they said they read somewhere that the reason the corals are fake is because they didnt want to destroy natural reefs in order to create the reef environment in captivity so they have replicated it as best they can.... it does look pretty real if you dont look underneath and see the sticks up the bottom of the corals...

Well i suppose this way they are safe.... there would be nothing worse than looking at big patches of dead things that they couldnt keep alive..

you may have a point about the money...

yer i went there when i was in town for the GP, i was impressed until i sure the fake coral in that tank, would have been alot better if it was real, bad it was a enjoyable place to visit
