My Trip to Malaysia

Hi Peoples,

i am back from a 2 week holiday to Malaysia.
I spent the time with my wife at Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi.

I was just going through my photo's and i noticed i have not a single photo of a discus! :oops: :oops: :oops:

Had a great time specially Penang, we hired motorbikes and toured around the whole island. :D

I bought back lots of aquarium goodies! so much in fact the buggers at the airport slugged me with excess baggage! :evil:

Now for the best bit!

The FOOD!! :shock: :shock: :shock: and beer! :wink:

I ate like a King! Not only was the food extremely cheap but it was very well made and tasty!

For a plate full of fried Koay Teow
(which is thick rice noodles with various seafood, bean sprouts and spices)
was 4 Ringet which is about $1.80 aus.

I ate stingray which was very nice but felt a litle guilty the next day when i say a large beautiful specimen being hand fed by a local! :lol:

Well thats all the pictures.

I am now putting myself on a detox program!

Welcome back great photo's the food photos and the descriptions make me hungry. Nothing like authentic Asian cuisine, especially when the servings are of a good size and the price is more than reasonable.

You only went to the aquarium store three times you must have run out of excuses for going back LOL !!!

Well it's good to hear you are back and all is well.

Did you bring back any curries or spices to cook up for the winter ?
