Yeah why have the "Adoptive" parents been seperated? :?

Is there aggression between the two? It looks like the there are holes for the fry to go to one parent or the other....

Hi Junior

From the time the wriggler went freeswimming the pair have been biting each other tails and pectrel fins as they where the darkess part of the fish and I think they thought the fins where a threat to there young. The female has taken a big peice out of the males tail as they have been swimming in circles fighting trying to make each other look after the fry.So its there to stop the pair from doing any more damage to each other ,nothing to do with the fry.

Looking good Brad. The babies are looking wonderful 8-)

It appears that separating the parents didn't upset the fry at all.

Terrific job. :P

It was probably the best thing I did merrilyn, the fry just swim threw from one fish to the other with out being caught up in the pair fighting.
