wet & dry canister filter

Hi,
Would anyone be able to tell me if the wet & dry Eheim filter would be a lot better than their other filters. ie Classic or Professional types?
They are a lot more expensive.

Better biological filter for sure but they have no mechcanical filtration whatsoever so you need another filter as well.
