Hi,

Please help.

My discus had a fairly long white poo coming out from his vent.

Now my question is, do i treat him for hex or tapeworms?

He's not hiding, not dark at all and still active. He only refuses to eat.

Can i treat him with metro and prazi at the same time?

Please help quick since i've already lost one the other day.

I have some images in my photo Album.

Hi,

Please help me identify this. It's one long white poo. I don't think it's tapeworms but then again i might be wrong.

your fish has stomach problem, they have internal worm. You need feed medicine to them. External medicine dont make effect to them.
However, if they dont eat anything, it is very diffcuilt to treat them.

if it is hex you can treat them through the water if theyre not eating but feeding meds go straight to the gut where it does most good. if its in the water it enters the bloodstream via the gills i think. id treat for hex, it seems to be a common thing so that would be my first bet. if, after youve treated, its still not better look into worming them
