okay guys, got my metro/flagyl today and its in 200mg pills. im wanting to feed it as theyre still eating but not sure of the best way? also how long can a mixture with water last for before it goes off and how long does a pill last when kept in dry cool conditions.
do i 1: grind up pills, mix with a bit of water, soak discus bits in it (they love that stuff, either that or flakes) and then freeze them.
2: grind up food and meds, add a bit of geletin and freeze the lot
3: grind up food and meds to make a paste, mix with geletin and put in fridge
4: any other methods hehe.
also how much food would i need to mix with each 200mg pill, i can cut them in half obviuosly and being such small fish theyd only eat a big pinch of food all up through out each day. ill be feeding only medicated food for 5 days. i dont have scales that weigh grams (grams are pretty small, dont even think we have scales lol) so a round about figure would be cool (theyre not too bad i think, best just to nab it before things get worse) but if exacts are needed im sure i could get one from a friend or something.
