Hi Nick,

i have used the internal UV's which are not really good for your application.
An external UV i have used and found very good is the coralife turbo twister, but it is not available in Australia.

But i hear that the De Barry Uv's are one of the best on the Market!

There is a new sponsor comming soon, you might of seen them on another post APW. They will be stocking the De Barry range at excellent pricing!

Hi Nick

DeBary UV is the best on the market by far.

Quality, well made unit.

DeBary AquaUV

Pentair Aquatics (Rainbow Lifegard)

Emperor Aquatics

I would rate the DeBary Electronic ballast as one of the best on the market, followed very closely to the other 2 suggested.

The Pentair also offers one of the best UV contact times of all the UV's available on the market as well...

What sort of money are you budgeting for this?

I only ask as it would be easier to recommend the appropriate one for your budget, considering some UV units can get up to $800 and more, yet there are a lot around the $200-$400 mark as well.
