They're a dwarf cichlid. U can house 1m/2females in a 2ft tank comfortably, together with a school of tetras, plants and bogwood. They'd even have a chance of breeding and raising some fry in that tank.

kev what size tank would you suggest for multiple species..... say 5? (1 male 2 female)

Hi everybody,

First of all I just want to thank you all for your patience with this current apisto shipment.

Unfortunatly, there has been some paperwork related issues beyond our control that has meant that the release date has had to be pushed back.

I am however, very happy to inform you, that after a conversation with AQIS; I am able to give you all an expected release date.

Monday 6th Feb. all things being well, the fish will be released for sale. :D Yay!!!

For all of you that have not yet contacted us, please do give me a call in store on 02 9315 5288 for reservations.

Thanks again,

Michella

SLS,

Can you inform us the pH used to hold/quarantine these apistos?

It will come in handy when getting the tank ready for the new fish.

Thanks,
Thomas.
