Hi,

One of my discus has a fat stomach which has been like this for about a week now.

I am not sure if it is constipation, some sort of worms or a bacterial infection.

1. It could be constipation as the fish eats a lot and would normally get a fat stomach at the time of eating. The fish is still eating lots.
2. It could be worms, only a feeling as the stomach is large and bolged
3. Bacterial Infection as i did notice this fish eating a deat harlequine about 3-4 weeks ago. (The harlequin died as a result of an increase in ph as my Co2 ran out)

What do you think?

is he looking stressed? does he look the right size for how much you are feeding them?

epsom salts will help free up the belly if it is a swim bladder problem.

The fish does not look stressed and can swim as normal. It is full of normal colour and is the same size as it pair.
