Thanks for the welcome people,

To give you a bit more info about my setup (my avatar is actually a part of my tank) I have attached a photo of my tank in its current state.
Unfortunately it is not at its best due to a recent problem with algae. I have nearly wiped it out but not before I lost quite a lot of plantlife. My foreground cryptocornes got massacred :cry: hopefully they will recover.

Anyway photo below (72" x 20" x 20")

WOW very nice mate what size is that like 8FT ? What are your specs on it like filtrtion etc.. :D

looks more like a 5 or 6ft to me.

Thanks, it's a 6 footer alright.

I thought that 8 foot was a bit big and expensive for a first tank.

As it stands I'm pretty happy with a 6. :D
