Uncorperative male !

I hv problem with the male. As he start consuming the eggs as soon as the female lay it on the cone. Today is the 4th times that the female tried to laid eggs.

I am wondering if it's a common behaviour in discus to do so.
Because the pair spawned & raiseed the young themselves before.

What could be the cause and how to prevent it?

This is a very bad habit that some of the males develop. I'm afraid to say that I've never found any cure for it, and have eliminated such males from my breeding programme.

Split the pair, and use another male. You might like to try the male again in about 12 months, and hopefully he will have forgotten his previous bad habit.
