Below are a couple of pictures of discus when i first fell in love with them 14 years ago. They were bought directly from AI when they were located in Preston.
I purchased them as brown turquoise.
I remembered seeing in the selling room one of the first batch’s of pigeon bloods which were quite amazing at the time. They were wholesaling for $80 for a 2" fish, there was a fait amount of peppering through their fins but at that time they still were truly amazing!
I had 4 of the brown turquoise in a 3 foot community tank along with various placid South American fish.
I purchased them as brown turquoise.
