how long do discus live ?

In a 'perefct' tank set up how long is the average life span of a good healthy discus?

And for interest sake, in the 'super freak' catagory whats the longest you have heard a discus living and how big did it get ?

Hmm interesting question Rupert. I regularly have fish living to 9 or 10 years.

Any animal or creature will generally live a lot longer in captivity than in the wild.
