Hi Everyone,

I will be starting a fishless cycle soon (combined with seachem stability) and I would like to know where I can get liquid ammonia from to cycle a tank ?

I am in Strathfield, N.S.W - can anyone tell me where to get it please?

hey man i wouldn't add ammonia if ur usinf seachem stability the bottle already has some ammonia in there to feed the bacteria... if u wanted to wait for the 7 days and didn't want the bacteria to die just put a pich of flake in the tank to cause bacteria that should be fine... IMO i wouldn't add ammonia

PS: You can buy ammonia from the supermarket in the cleaning section just make sure it's clear and when shaken up hasn't go millions on bubbles just a few.. make sure no other shit is added to it either..

Good Luck man

Well,

I dont think I will be urinating in the fish tank - that would just be wrong. But seriously, I would rather have a fishless cycle so im not slack to any fish that go in it.

Just do a fishless cycle and don't use the Seachem. Will work out cheaper.

I know Safeway (I think it's called Woolworths in NSW) have it.
It's in a 2lt bottle and is clear in color just like water. As Mulisha said don't get the ones that are cloudy in color and have bubbles after you shake them, those have detergent added.
