A while back i think i saw a thread where someone mentioned yellow eyes on discus as a bad thing.... I was wondering is it a health issue... I have a pigeonblood with very pale yellowy orange eyes.. they have always been like that since i got him... he is growing nicely and seems healthy I was wondering if it is more of a cosmetic thing rather than health thing.... can someone shed some light on the for me???

Nothing to do with health issue. It's just a "beauty" judging criteria.... human imposed. Solid red eyes are more appealing that's all.

Personally I must admit that yellow eyes can look very nice, if not nicer than red eyes on some specimens. However, red eyes are almost a must on red and white fish. Just my opinion.
