For those of you I have not told, I recently aquired a awesome perfect 180 gal tank with stand and a box of fixtures. :D All for Free!!! All I had to do was haul it. And it was my pleasure to do do.

But I have a dilema. The box of stuff that came with the tank has a magnum filter, (it is huge  ) I cannot remember the numbers on it at the moment, and it also has a wet-dry....Now, mind you, I have always had HOB filters, nothing else with the exception of when I got the 55 it had underground.

Soooooooo, what so I do with these? How do I use them? Do they work together?
Is it a good set up?

Sounds like it might be the 350Pro. Good filter, if you like Biowheels. I would supplement with a different cannister like a Filstar XP3 or Fluval 404 (IF it's the newest version).

More info at www.marineland.com Don't know it THIS (http://www.marineland.com/products/prod_consumer.asp) page will load, but it should.

Thanks Luv.
I have looked at the Mag's on line and mine looks huge and it is not clear. I talked to a lady today that knows of that tank I got and she saif that the filtration (The Mag) may be 10 years old. I think I am going ot go out and look in the shed to see if I can find numbers on the canister. I believe it was a 350, but now I am wondering how old. It actually looked new, or so I thought.

Thx for the links.
