well my discus layed n ate once again!!

Okays so my discus once again layed some more eggs. I took a pic of them and uploaded em onto the computer (taken via my mobile phone)

WELL by the time i uploaded them and looked to see what was decent enuff to put up on here they had eaten the lot of them.

Needles to say i only got 1 pic that half viewable.

***NOTE to self must get my digi cam installed back on this comp again now it's working

U can see the eggs just under her, she was laying another row when i took it, eggs this time are super orangish red

Okays so im wondering, is there anything u can do too encourage them to not eat the eggs?
That mesh cone i have heard some pplz talk of , DOES it really work, in stopping them from eating them?

The mess works a treat!
I use gutter guard bought at bunnings.

Weigh it down with something as it tends to float.

We all have egg eaters. Usually they grow out of it, but sometimes they need a little help from a mesh guard.

Just be patient, these fish have long breeding lives, and you've got plenty of time to allow them to get it right.
