Maybe a slight unorthodox type of food to feed discus, but they love them! And the theory is... that being an amphibian they should not have any nasties that discus could get. :P

I would not feed these little treats to the pairs if they had wrigglers or fry as a taddie could be mistaken....a simple clean live food to bring them into spawning condition!

A pair of young blue diamonds having a big feed! :D

Cheers

lol junior!

my parents have a farm out in the yarra valley, they have a new 1 acre dam, and the little froggies have been breeding in the dam!
a bit tricky to catch though!

cheers

Ok everyone,
Just an update...

This live food source is not recommended. I have been told by Andrew Soh as there is a risk of parasites and other nasties.

also Ben... you are a naughty boy :whip ....I'm pretty sure taddies are meant to be protected!! You are supposed to be nice to them... they turn into little froggies which are getting rarer all the time due to our urban sprawling and taking of their homes...

Lucky for them they are parasite carrying little germ bombs...
