Hi all - Thankfully the weekend is here - woohoo -
Just curious - I was reading an article on the web and the author proposed that all captive discus should be treated regularly with various meds as a matter of course. ie for worms, flukes, hex etc etc.
I am very eager to know if anyone in this forum treats with Meds preventatively rather that curatively. If so what do you treat for ?? How often and what with ?? I would love to hear your thoughts on treatment as a preventative rather than a cure either way....

Best Regards

I wormed my fish on a weekly basis and now its every 2 weeks
I do this because i feed them with bw and my bh mix has prawn and salmon in it
Plus the buggers seem to bulk up when wormed often
In two years Ive not medicated
except breeing pair (who dont breed) hth
