When a filter packs up what happens :!: (canister filter)
Water turns merky :?:

Im asking because my tank recently has gone merky I cant see more than 5cms into it.
Its gone a yellow colour.
Im not doing anything different.
I did put in two scrawny looking planis in.
I water change twice a week.
Any Ideas :?:

do you have a UV on the tank??

Is water still flowing out of the outlet???

is there still water coming out of the outlet of the filter?

If there is maybe clean out the filter media, but replace only 1/2 of the wool if it has any and put 1/2 the old wool behind the new wool.

keep up the water changes and maybe increase to every second day if possible.
