My tank, revamped

Hey guys,

thanks to a hugely generous horticulturalist friend (with a passion for aquaria) i was able to plant out my 4 footer a bit..

Ive kept all the plants low light requirements...

got some amazon swords,
another sort of sword
banana lillies
dwarf anubias nana
and java fern.

The pic is pretty dismal, but im pretty sleepy, will get more pics tomorrow some time..

Its still very much a work in progress, the background was only temporary, to see how black works with wood and black gravel

Very nice benny!!! I like the black background its very striking... we had one on our 3ft for years and only just recently changed it as our plastic plants are looking a little shoddy and haven't had a chance to replace them yet and found a background of rocks and plants that helps to hide the fact that the plants are so yuk at the moment... (have to have plastic as the fish are big time plant eaters) but the black looks great when you have a nice stock of greenery as contrast!! :D
