Below are some wild discus awaiting shipment to SLS in the next 2 weeks.

Available are:

1. Heckel 2.5"-3"

2.Willyswartzi Heckel (aka Pineapple heckel) 2.5"-3"

3.Rio Nhamunda solid red 2.5"-3"

4.Tefe red spotted green 3.5"

5.Madeira Mari-mari cross red 5"-6" <---- Spectacular fish, HUGE. Pictures later. They're settling in and not ready for picture taking.

Ok, this is not pic of the actual fish but a similar fish taken off the net.... The actual Madeira mari-mari we have look almost exactly like this one!! :shock:

Any idea of the price range for the Madeira Mari Mari, Nhamunda reds and the Pineapple heckels??

Also any chance of importing Nhamunda Blues like this one?

That must be the most widely circulated Nhamunda blue picture on the net!! :lol: Everytime that pic gets thrown up....

Sorry to say, so far I've never seen one looking THAT GOOD!

This link show more like what they really are.... a rather dull brown.

Oh, and one more thing... let's take it slowly and not jump to the deep end of the wild discus pit. :lol:

Don't ask for the Curiperas unless u know how much they cost.... The US$ figure I see on them worries me. ALOT! :lol:

The ones we're bringing in are at least 'affordable'.

We can still dream. Well what about this one, it looks very much like a curipera but I am not 100% sure.

Davo - here is a young fish from a batch I got in from Turkis aquarium in Manaus. It is supposedly a curipera but I'm not sure either

Nice fish Squid..... Can't say for sure either way, but hey, nice looking young fish. :wink: The Alenquer complex are so hard to tell apart... :?

And Davo, yes that's a pic of a Curipera in Japan. Errrm, did u see the price tag on that one?! :shock:
