Mate...your tank looks stunning!
I love the assortment of plants and the whole lay out!

To me i like the slight tint of brown/yellow, makes it look very natural!

well done!

9 out of 10!

Lighting?

Lighting is 4x36w (i think) standard fluro's (old style, not the new compact ones) The tubes are all $6 6500k and 10000k phillips tubes from bunnings 2 of each...

It does get a fair bit of natural sunlight through the day though..

awesome tank. do you get algae problems from the sunlight?

Before i got the UV Sterililzer i had problems with algae (nothing major) but since installing that and a few more BN's i only need to do a quick clean of the inside of the glass once a week when i do my water change..

nicholas76, I just run a 1200lph canister and a 1800lph internal filter.. along with 24W UV Sterilizer... I do about 30 - 40% water change once or twice a week.. Ohh i just use "Aqua-Master" fert tab's that i picked up at my LFS the setup is only about 4 and a bit months old so maybe banana lillies just dont live that long.. will have to see how they go im hoping it will look even better in a few months when it all fills in a bit more.. :)

Also thanks to everyone for there kind words!!

CO2 does make a difference, but i think you would be hard pressed to get any sort of level constant with a DIY on a tank that size.

If your not using CO2 now why change,Unless you are try for the harder plants or a carpet effect then you need one.
