Hey Guys,

Has anybody thought about it ?

Like run an aquarium solely for discus (must be very profitable i assume)

about 1/3 of their stock (dont quote me on that) is discus, they have something like 12 tanks and hold as much as 400 discus at one time or another??? I remember reading that somewhere????/


They have the market pretty well covered as far as imports are concerned, with kev being all chummy with the breeders in penang, and hand selecting fish himself....

If you have the industry contacts, a lot of money to establish a quarantine facility, the correct permits, etc... then it may be possible.

However, you would need other varieties of fish to keep business going, as not everyone out there is into Discus (there loss IMO) lol

yea would be a bit harder in australia seeing the aquarium industry isnt as big as america and europe.
But would be a dream for most of us on here
