Here are some pics of my new Heckel which i got from Ben.
He/she is still quite young and only around 2.5-3 inches in size.
Photos were taken this morning and I only got him yesterday afternoon, he's already settling in very well.
He started eating Beefheart already and is swimming around with all the fish and not looking to stressed which is great.

Thanks Nick

yeah it is a nice looking discus. I've never a Heckel before and look forward to seeing this one grow.
Hopefully I'll be able to breed him one day.

Hi Vince

Ben didn't give me any special instuctions so I don't think so.
This is not a wild discus so I think he's easier to keep.
I do have an RO unit and UV on the tank and do 15% water changes daily so I think and hope that'll keep him happy.
From what Ben told me he is a cross between a wild and a domestic discus. Ben if this is wrong please correct me.

Wow those parents are stunning.
I don't think Ben will mind as he can always come over and have a look and is first in line for fry if I'm lucky enough to breed with him.
