Keep these away from my tank! A fish-tongue-eating-bug was found in Brittan, supposedly they only attack fish, but just the thought gives me the willies.

Very common in salwater fish in Sydney worse still find them in leatherjacjets eating up their insides, called doctors when we found them in fish. Yes they are very grose

ive found them in slimey macarel alot..

its worse when you kill the fish and then u find the bugs crawling out of their mouthes..!! YUK!

also i didnt think fish had tongues?

these are no big deal at all .

you get them al lthe time in trevally and bream in salt water .

basically cleaner bugs, they tend to drop out or fall off when you catch a fish anyway.

I've never seen one but a mate up in Coff's Harbour who does a lot of fishing told me about them a long time ago.

I remember being freaked out back then just from being told to expect these worms to come crawling out of a mulloway that he had caught.

Now I've seen the pic I'm sure glad I haven't come face to face with any live ones!!

I don't think I'll be having sushi anytime soon...EEEWWW!!!
