I am new to discus and wonder if anyones know a place to get TDS meter in melbourne or online ??

thanks for response. I did try to look at the sponsor website but I can't find it....i dont trust ebay....thanks anyway..

Hi Marlbred,

Obviously you would have your own reasons for wanting to get a TDS meter, I have one as it was an integral part of my hydroponics kit but as far as Discus are concerned I have found it to be of very little use. They never tell you want to really want to know as it only gives you total disolved solid readings, not actual amounts of anything in particular.

What I have found invaluable though are the hardness testers, KH and GH, far less costly than a TDS and in my opinion far more useful. Just my 2 bobs worth.
