The discus u brought was probably breeding with a male in the tank she was in before u bought her...so now u have put her in a tank with another male that she doent noe!!

I think u should give them time to get use to each other and then see wat happens... :)

Hello geral. Yes I'm still here. This is my second home :lol:

Give your female some time on her own. She was probably about to spawn with one of the males in her tank, and sees the new male as an intruder. Just leave her alone in the tank, give her good food and lots of water changes, and try the male with her again in a few weeks.

Just like people, fish have definate ideas about the ideal partner. She needs some time to accept him.
