Ozone or UV ????

Hello Everyone

What is the difference between an Ozone processor and a UV unit.

1. Do they perform the same task?
2. What are the Pros and Cons of each unit
3.Does the Ozone processor need any maintenance like the UV(lamp replacement every 6 months or so)

Without a skimmer and carbon screening Ozone could prove deadly to your fish.

I was learning about this only a few hours ago.
