expired meds

Hi There,

This may be a silly question but has anyone used expired meds before? I've got a whole big bottle of prazi and it expired in feb this year. Wonder if these will turn toxic after expiring. Or is the set date like a fail safe when it actually is still ok. Any ideas?

I dont know about prazi specifically, but most meds just become less effective with time, so you dont hurt the fish, you just arent doing them any good!

They put an expirey date for a reason, i personally would not use it.

In saying that it could be fine to use it....

Personally I would bin the expired Prazi. Some meds become more toxic when past their use by date, others become less effective. Buy some fresh stock ...HTH

yea probably trash it. A waste though. it's a 250 tab bottle. dam....
