I don't know how right this is, but it was Emailed to me today by a friend, so I thought I should share it with Forum Members just in case :

All mobile users pay attention! if you receive a phone call and your mobile phone displays (XALAN) on the screen, don't answer the call, END THE CALL IMMEDIATELY. if you answer the call, your phone will be infected by a virus. This virus will erase all IMEI and IMSI information
from both your phone and your SIM card, which will make your phone
unable to connect with the telephone network. You will have to buy a new phone. This information has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia.

There are over 3 Million mobile phones being infected by this virus in places all around the world now. You can also check this news in the CNN web site. PLEASE FORWARD THIS PIECE OF INFORMATION TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS HAVING A MOBILE.

How do you mean a "Bluetooth message"?

Like someone send you a bluetooh message.

So anyone in that area that have their bluetooth activated will received this msg. Well its abvious, DO NOT OPEN THIS MSG!

If you open this msg , some program will be installed into your mobile phone.

This program will delete all memory in that phone and sim card like address book , musics ... and other stuff that you got in your phone.

Also, the worst thing is , this program will start sending SMS to everyone you got in your addressbook. I received this SMS from my friend that got this virus. The SMS is about "free porn" , "free ringtone" , "free icons" , etc.

This program will sending the SMS every 5mins. So it will BOOST your phone bill for sure.

3 of my friend got this "bluetooth msg" and their bill went up to $2500 ( more or less )

So once again , be aware.

Thanks for that. I always check who is calling me before I answer anyway, but some people don't. What a nasty thing to do to someone.
