What stuff are you looking to buy, fish :?: or accessories :?:

Ok if it was me heading that way this is what i would buy:
1/good quality digital thermometers
2/books on fish and discus
3/sponge filters
4/digital water testers, eg ph and tds
5/air hose (never have too much air hose!)
6/various filter media
7/high quality discus food, ie tetra bits
Thats what i would be looking out for, just be careful if you buy anything electric....
Have a fun but safe trip,
Ben

If you go to this place buy everything that would fit into your suitcase. This place is like paradise. Everything is CHEAP !!!
Buy everything that Ben suggested. But for the fish food .... Im pretty sure you cant bring that back to Australia. Quarantine matter ....
Have fun and happy shopping !

i think buy what ben said excluding the airline and the food like DR.V said. the food will be destroyed once you get over here. and the airline is cheap anyway over here. use the space for the airline on more filtre media :D

I could be totally wrong but it should be ok to bring fish food into Australia as long it is in a sealed proper container, list of ingredients etc.
In saying that me thinks that it would not be possible to bring in a plactic bag full of fish flakes.
Maybe look up the austalian quarantine website. To see if it is allowed.
I have bought spices from North Africa and Spain into Australia without a problem (which i declared)
See how you go,
have fun on your holiday!
and take lots of pics for us.
cheers,
Ben

When you enter Australia, theres on option on the immigartion card of what you bring with you into Australia such as pets products.
Make sure you tick this when coming here. Otherwise, if they found out you bring pets products without ticking the option, they'll give you so much trouble, remembering higher security level in the airport.
I brought lots of aquarium products when I return overseas.
Things like pumps, filter , electronic things is alright.
But they took my 3 cans of tetra bit which sealed too. So I guess you cant bring fish food here into Australia. Other way to bring them in here, is by changing the container ( ie : plastic bag ) and say its a snack :P

No fish foods...
Once brought some sample hikari goldfish food in vacuum sealed packaging.... Had it binned.
IF you like planted tanks.... get the range of ADA (Aqua Design Amano) products. They aren't available in Aust (yet). Design wise, IMO they are stunning.... Canister filter made of glass and stainless steel~ (CLASSY!).
