What products do i need to keep on hand with discus

just wanting to no what medication should i keep on hand with discus, just in case i need some urgently. ie worm tablets etc

i guess due to the fact i have tons of gear i take it all for granted

Axl.....thi is what i keep at the moment
1. testing packs..... for pH,ammonia,Gh,Kh,Nitrite,Nitrate
2. for medication.....anti-biotics and salt
3. equipment....extra heater, small hospital tank.

in time you will build up your equipment so i wouldnt buy too much except the testing gear.....Jim

my most needed thing to have on hand is plenty of aged water...and salt is pretty much always my first defence against any illness.....if they ever get sick which has not happened for well over 6 or 7 months now...touch wood

perhaps the best thing to have on hand is information...know what you are doing and often you will not need anything else in that case of an emergency simply by preventing the emergency in the first place

7. knowing exactly what it is your treating for ... more important than all of the above.

How hard is it to get metro, my girlfriend is a nurse and vet clinic will she be able to get me some and how much is it.?????

I reckon she would be able to get metro for you, for the rest of us its a little hard to get our hands on it.
Be carefull make sure you have an accurate diagonozise of what your treating for.
I dont keep metro on hand, its obtainable if needed.

Each to there own, I mainly keep salt on hand.
And I regular worm with Prazi....
