check out this lego church!

A few quick facts:

How long to build it? It was about a year and a half of planning, building and photographing.

How many pieces of LEGO to build it? more than 75,000

How big is it? About 7 feet by 5 1/2 feet by 30 inches (2.2 m x 1.7 m x .76 m)

How many LEGO people does it seat? 1372

How many windows? 3976


It features a balcony, a Narthex, stairs to the balcony, restrooms, coat rooms, several mosaics a nave, a baptistry, an altar, a crucifix, a pulpit and an elaborate pipe organ.

I LOVE LEGO'S!!!

Always wanted to make something that scale............

Q. is it LEGO as a plural? or is it LEGO'S?

and why do South Australian pronoce it LAYGO?

The plural is Legos. There is no apostrophe in a plural.

Useless info: The word 'Lego' is derived from two Danish words meaning 'play well'.

When you buy a single lego, it comes in a bubble wrap envelope :P

LOL Should be individually bubble wrapped considering the price of the stuff.

BTW: If the plural of goose is geese, is the plural of moose meese?

uh, not quite how it works. lol


but i've always found it interesting that it is as follows:

sheep-sheep
moose-moose
junk-junk

and perhaps some odd plurals like

fungi-fungus
raias-radia (i think i spelled that correctly)
phenomenon-phenomina

Plurals are funny words.

For instance..................

Singularly it is Crow - But a group of them is called a Murder :roll:
