Just thought I would post another fish of mine called ORGON YELLOW, the other name this fish is called is YELLOW WHITE

it's awersome got such nice colours it has such long fins or whatever they are uder it's body :oops: :lol: :lol:

Those are pelvic fins Rick, pectoral fins are the ones that help them swim.

I found a pic of another nice fish.

i just love these yellow based fish, not easy to come by aswell....

See the pics of the top fish and that fish u just posted why are the pelvic fins shorter on the bottom one and longer on the top fish and they look almsot the same size...

Also why on the fish at the top of the page have seperated fins on the top like there split or something becuase some of my red turks have the same splits on the top fin...

Heya Rick,

The pic of the top fish with the longer pelvic fins, is a older fish than the pic ben posted. As discus get older their pelvic fins grow longer until fully grown, it's a good way to measure growth rate and age of a fish .. similar to using eye size to do the same.

The "split fins" are totally normal, they are more noticable when the fishes fins are fully erect ... once again they get deeper/bigger as the fish ages.
