My 3 Heckels

I have just moved my 3 heckels from QT to 4x2x2 tank. They are still settling down. Hopefully I can get them to grow bigger and fatter. They don't look stunted but I must say I am not 100% sure. Also I am hoping to get few more discus to make them more comfortable.

Nice heckles wild - are they the 3 from Perth Aquarium & Dsiplay Center - if not which store did they come from ?

Yes, I bought them from the shop.
Delicate fish and I think will do much better in a bigger group.

I was eyeing those fish off from the time they arrived in store - just didn't have any spare tanks for them ;)

They were in the shop for 6-8 weeks according to them. As a matter of fact it was almost two weeks from the time I saw them and I took them home. The shop assistant told me to get my QT ready and he was sure they wouldn't be sold in a week time. He said they just didn't sell well, people prefer new colourfull discus. But to me they were the most beautifull discus in the shop.

Thanks for your help. I followed your instructions with medications and high temp treatment etc. It has worked well. I finally got metro too.

Breed'em up. I cant seem to find red Heckels anywhere. Some of my imported ones dont show anywhere near that red colour. Cant wait to buy some fry!! Well done on your fish - they're beauties
