I read a few. The two I liked the most were both by Jim Quarles. Discus as a hobby and Success with discus. They have lots of nice pictures in them too. HTH.

I have collected a fairly large library of discus books over the years, but I think the one I like the best is:-

Back to Nature Guide to Discus by D i c k Au.

He has been breeding discus successfully since the 1950s, and gives simple, straight forward advice.

The photographs show a good range of colours, but remember, thee are new strains being developed every year, so no book will remain up to date for long.

I have several of the Wattley books. The latest one is "Discus for the perfectionist".

An interesting read, but not comprehensive enough as an all round discus book.
