I like to know how you guys do WC? I still use the old garden hose but because the number of tanks and number of WC are getting more frequent it's simply too slow. I am thinking of using big hose of at least 2.5 cm diameter to speed up the process. Any suggestion of what economical flexible hose I should use and where to get it. I am in Perth. Also how to start the draining process with having to suck the other end of the hose? I am trying to have more enjoyment time and less maintenance work.

are the tanks BB? if so you could get a 1 1/2 inch diameter or more hose and that would definetly speed things up for you. yes you can suck on the end (1 way) or you can submerge about 1 metre of hose into the tank and then lift the metre out (without the watewr going back into the tank) and let it go down the pipe for 3 secs then put the end of the hose back into the tank and the gravity of the water will start the siphoning for you.
