Well, the discus did not survive. Water testing showed that everything except for my nitrite was a tad high at 0.3 The rest of the fish including the angel are just fine, eating and quite content. The discus was showing some disress a few weeks back so something must have been wrong with it then.

I have had a good time here with you all. Learned alot. Now that I don't have a discus nor will be getting anymore due to their cost I am leaving the forum. Thanks for all the info and help..... :D

Keep up the good work with these beautiful fish they truly are the king of the aquarium...... :D

So sorry to hear that your little fish didn't make it. It's always very distressing when something like this happens. I'm sure you did everything possible for him.

I know its disheartning but most loose a discus at some time.. But if thats how you feel than good luck and drop in for a chat some time..
