Hi, my name is Christopher and I am from Singapore. I have been keeping discus for about 4 years now. I was first introduce to this beautiful fish when I was only 10 years old, by my grandfather who kept goldfish and wild discus.

Below is a link for the fishes that are in my current and past collection, I have also added the link to my Asian Arowana.

If you are ever in Singapore (Aquarama 25 till 29 May 2005, Singapore Expo), please do drop me a note. I would be glad to bring you around to the many discus farms available in our small country.

Discus Strains that I have collected…
- Red White
- White Pigeon aka White Butterfly
- Blood Pigeon (Current)
- Snakeskin
- Leopard Snakeskin
- Leopard
- Red Melon
- Rose Red (Current)
- Golden 21 (Current)

Scott, I was actually thinking maybe something like that should be organised...

Just a social trip, visit some breeders, etc...

Maybe when Kev is back online he can give us an idea if something could be planned.

Details as follows...

Latest Discus Reference Book - Discus Catalogue
"New varieties of Discus are created all the time due to cross breeding and inbreeding. This is made possible because of the versatility of the Discus fish. However, the numerous varieties found today has also caused a lot of confusion among enthusiasts. This is a comprehensive guide to Discus varieties that will definitely help readers understand and appreciate this beautiful creation of nature much better.

This catalogue provides the latest information on Discus varieties. It has also categorized the varieties based on their characteristics with explanations on how some of the varieties are created. It is well illustrated with over 600 photographs on most of the varieties found.

In order that this catalogue continues to serve Discus enthusiasts as a timeless and comprehensive guide, it is published in folder form so that new information can be added on from time to time."
- the author Martin Ng
