I have had 4 discus in a heavy planted 200 litre tank for 8-10 months now and they have tolerated each other.......their will always be one fish that gets picked on the most and in my case it was my nice male blue diamond. He did used to at least come out to eat however the last 10 days he has "cracked it" and just stays in his rear corner. Colour is good no signs of stress however does not eat and will no longer try and socialise. !

I have another 32x18x18" BB tank which has two female red turqs in and I am considering moving him in there for a little holiday with the two lovely ladies....

.What do you think ? keep him in the planted tank and force him to behave socialy or give him new friends in my BB tank for a while. I think the BB tank my send him over the edge if he has been used to gravel & plants ?

cheers

Rob, instead of moving him, I suggest you move the two females into the planted tank, and move the main bully into the bare tank.

That should shake up the pecking order a bit, and if one of the females should take up with him, he will become king of the tank.

Can't see his poo.......however will take the advice and mix up the stock...I'll put my bully male in with my largest female in the BB and the other in with my problem fish.

Thanks its great having different ideas.
